"
A unique wine & taste experience..."
Come to our thatched roof tasting house and experience
the unusual. Our winery specializes in the cellaring and production
of Traditional & Non-Traditional Meads (Honeywines), Historic
Beverages and seasonal Hard Ciders.
| We
are dedicated to the production of old world, classic European
regional and historical libations. We strive to use the ancient
techniques of yesteryear to produce quality meads & refreshments,
which have a unique place in today's world. |
 |
The winery is located in Sperryville, Virginia--amongst the Blue
Ridge Foothills, in beautiful & unspoiled Rappahannock
County, 70 miles west of Washington, D.C.
| Please take note of our
new project at the winery. We are promoting knowledge of and
appreciation for the Appalachian dulcimer (aka 'lap',
'strumming' or 'mountain' dulcimer) Anyone wishing to donate
one of these beauties to our growing collection for
display/performances may contact us. Thanks for your
generosity. |
Hence, come for a visit and have a taste of the past & history...
Partake,
Enjoy & Wassail !!!
